specifically intended to produce music. The study of a musical instrument called Musical instrument is an instrument that created or modified for the purpose of producing music and sound a certain way can be arranged by the musicians. Musical instruments in general terms used for a tool organologi. The musical is based on sound sources and how to play:

Musical based on sound sources :

1.Idiofon, is a musical instrument from the sound source materials. Example:   kolintang, drum, bongo, kabasa, angklung.

2.Aerofon, is a musical instrument from the sound source in the cavity airflow. Example: flute, trumpet, harmonica, trombone.

3.Kordofon, is a musical instrument sounds coming from the source string. Example: bass, guitar, violin, guitar, sitar, piano, harp.

4.Membranofon, is a musical instrument sound source from the membrane or membranes. example: drums, drum, drum, tam-tam, tambourine.

5.Elektrofon, is a musical instrument sound source of electricity generated by the (electronic). Example: keyboards, electric guitar, electric bass, electric piano.

Musical based on the way to play :

1.Wind instruments produce sound when a column of air in it vibrated. High-low tone waveform generated is determined olehfrekuensi associated with the air column length and shape of the instrument, while the timbre is affected by the basic materials, construction tools and how to produce it. Examples of this instrument is the trumpet and flute.

2.Percussion instruments produce sound when struck or beaten. Percussion instruments are divided into two pitched and pitched. The shape and material parts of the instrument and form a cavity resonance, if any, will determine the resulting sound of instruments. Examples are kolintang (pitched), drums (no tone), and bongo (no tone).

3.Stringed instruments produce sound when the strings are vibrated through cited by me. High-low tone is generated from the short length of string.

4.Stringed instrument produces sound when the string is swiped. Such as stringed instruments, high-low tone depending on the long and short strings.

Guitar

For example, a musical instrument Guitar is a stringed musical instrument played by plucked, the instrument most commonly used fingers or plectrum. Guitar a musical instrument formed of a main body with the neck is solid as a string of six didempetkan. Musical instrument guitars are traditionally formed from various types of wood with strings made of nylon or steel. Some of the modern guitar is made of polycarbonate material. In general, the guitar is divided into two types: acoustic and electric.

Acoustic Guitar

Acoustic guitar has a hollow body part (hollow body) and can produce a relatively loud sound without electrical reinforcement. The sound of this instrument resulting from the vibration of the strings are then amplified by a guitar body that acts as a resonance tube.

There are several subcategories of grouping acoustic guitar, including:

 1. nylon guitar strings, including classical guitar and flamenco guitar
 2. steel-stringed guitar, including a flat-top guitar and folk guitar
 3. archtop guitar
 4. twelve-string guitar

Grouping of musical instruments also incorporate acoustic guitar acoustic guitar tone that has a range of different levels, such as the acoustic bass guitar that has the same setem electric bass guitar.

Electric guitar

Electric guitar is a musical instrument is designed so that the sound produced can be electrically amplified and if played without reinforcement would produce a relatively weak voice. The main components of the electric guitar is the pickup. Electromagnetic pickup captures the string vibration and the change in the form of signals, which are then forwarded to the medium melelui speaker cables or radio waves. The resulting sound is often manipulated in such a way as to use additional electronic equipment as well as the natural distortion of the vacuum tube inside a loudspeaker. There are two types of magnetic pickups, the single coil pickups (single coil) and double coil pickups (double coil or humbucker), each pickup can be set active or passive. Some models of electric guitar using piezoelectric pickups, which function as transducers to produce sound that is relatively similar to the acoustic guitar. There is also a guitar that combines a magnetic pickup and called hybrid piezoelectric pickup guitars.
